Too Many Forums on the New kL???

Ok, the work is somewhat complete. There may be some issues with threads not showing up but I'll figure that out later. For now the forums are narrowed down to 10 and the existing threads have been merged into their appropriate category with the exception of the 18 & over category which is a sub-forum of The Lounge.

"Who's online" on the lower right looks better than top right, imo. So keep it there.

The threads not showing up [on the front page] I presume is probably due the cache settings to save bandwidth. It's probably set to query the database every so and so minutes and serve it to the front page instead of thrashing the database on every page refresh.

Yes, just testing things out. I agree that the lower right is the right location for this. There is caching of the latest threads which I may decide to reduce the cache time so it can be more real time.

You always have the option to ghost yourself so noone can see that you're online. This was a feature we had in the past so I'm testing it out again as it can help bring more activity to this site.

Yeah it's weird though, auto enthusiasts had the fewest topics/posts of all the KL categorys. Chanrith know best and done a great job!

Chanrith, are you still working on the BB code? Because I can't see the videos that are embedded and whenever someone quotes someone else.

They weren't working last night but they have being working all today so far, for me.

When they don't work, it show the raw code with bracket and all, instead of embedding.

I'm liking how even the desktop version seem simplified and mobile friendly. And fewer category, less scrolling!

The mobile ver I only see it once and it look way to simple and missing feature/buttons
