I think fashion is mostly a teenage thing...or a loser/skank's thing. When I was in high school, i got picked on for having "tight" pants, but now really tight pants is the style.

In college, I notice that style really meant very little. People judge you more on your ability to do good in school. After college and at work, fashion almost means nothing. If you dress decent, then that's cool. Once in a while, I bump into people who are still stuck on fashion. They seem to be stuck in high school, or they're losers/skanks.

I recall when I was in college, I was broke, didn't have a car, and barely had enough to eat let alone worry about fashion hahahaha. Those were the days when a little meant a lot and I still wouldn't trade it for the world because it taught me to endure!

Nowadays, my shopping needs regulation because I find myself looking at shoes and clothes almost everyday online. Also, I have this obsession for timberlands, air maxes, and jordans dating back since my HS days! Someone help me please shake this expensive habit!!! =/
