Canines or Felines?

I hate cats as well. Not necessarily all cats, but most of them I hate. Old cats are cool as fuck though because they don't really give a fuck. They don't seem like a pet at all. They disappear and they're probably never around when you come home unless they're hungry. You play with them on their time and they just sit there unless you flick around something like a feather. I got so fed up with my bf's cat thinking she's the shit, so I just started annoying it one day when her nails were cut so she couldn't claw at me. It eventually knew that I was the boss so now it just follows me around. They leave hair EVERYWHERE it's annoying. Cats are pretty much just lap pets that are for people who don't want a lot of responsibility for one. Also, they don't give a fuck what you say, they do whatever they want.

I love dogs on the other hand though. They are VERY loyal and they always wait for you to come home. They act like you died and came back from the dead. Keeps you active because they always wanna go for a walk or play. Dogs are just very lovable and protective. Full of personality. They do require more care and attention, but that's because dogs are more of a companion than just a pet. They're extremely intelligent animals.

Also, just wanted to add: that dumb cat wanted to hurt my little guinea pigs, but bf's parent's dog was protecting my little boys. Another good trait that dogs have. Most female dogs have almost a maternal instinct so they tend to protect smaller animals.

when I was 15 I made my parents give in n let me get a Labrador/ mix puppy. At the time it was the most expensive thing I ever paid for n such a waste of money it was. I probably purchase dogg food for it twice fed it rice with this n that from time to time then I gave it away. Then few months later my buddy who had a pitbull mixx with something. Well he had puppies up for sale n the best one n most adorable of the litter was up for sale. See he wanted too much plus he was a bit attached to it thats why it was the last one to get sold. Well I had the pit for a day then I decided that I did want to keep it. A lil about the dog. See it was about the size of a 99cent arizona can drink. It was tan n brown n white n black plus a patch around it's left eye. Damn wish I had a picture of him. Well he was way way smarter than my previous dog plus he was a babe magnet. I didn't even need to keep him on a leash unlike the Lab. Dog was so freaking street smart, listens to all my command, run into all the right chicks, damn i miss him so much. I forget the reason why my mom made me give him up. I dunno if it was me or the dogg but something set her off n she was ticked about it. I returned him back to my boy after couple month or so w/ free dogg food and a leash and i gave him 20 bucks ontop that. WTF right. I 4got what I got out of the deal. But yo time w/ him was well spent.
My sis talking about a Savannah. She wants one. I wanna see it. A feline that supposedly act like a canine.

If only they can remain as puppies/kittens. They are the cutest when they're small. I'm fond of both. Although I got bitten by several pets such dog, rabbit, snake, hamster, I still love them. I really want a pet ferret. They are so cool. lol

Ferrets are really cute and extremely intelligent, but they can be dangerous if not trained right. And their poop is stinky.

Grew up with only dogs in the house. They're great pets but tend to be super needy in comparison to cats. I'm the step father of a Russian Blue now and I love him! A cat that is well taken care of is intelligent, playful, calm (in most situations), affectionate, and just overall a great companion. They can do just about everything a dog can do without acting all hyper-active I still love dogs though.

What I'm about to say is a very broad statement-I am aware haha. They say that people who own cats live longer lives. So yea Cats are pretty useful! You'll never know until you own a cat and actually take good care of it. They're just as loyal and affectionate as dogs can be. High five fellow Cat lover! ^_^

Khmer superstitious old folks said raising an ALL grey or tricolor (brown,grey/black,white) cat brings luck and fortune. As soon as we find our perfect home here in California, I will buy this tricolor Persian kitten and make it chubby <3. Cats are lazy, so they're a gazillion times easier to raise than dogs. Plus, they can go pee and poop on their own. ^-^

I'd prefer a dog. I'm needy and I think a dog would give me the companionship minus the drama of cats.
