HTML is possible, but we're afraid to enable it.. anyone can easily abuse this feature and inject some nasty code.. not good.

Thy, I don't believe HTML and CSS will open the doors to malicious activities. They codes deal with front-end and does not affect the server.

Thy, I don't believe HTML and CSS will open the doors to malicious activities. They codes deal with front-end and does not affect the server.

There are many things that can be injected with HTML enabled like loading up an iframe with some javascripts, etc... not worth the risk.

Also Thy, is it possible to just show BLOG TITLE instead of all the brief details of it? it stretches the sidebar down to the bottom and makes the front page look a little imbalanced. I always have to scroll down to see the rest of 'Recent Blog Post Update' It'll look nicer at least to just see our Avatar and the blog title next to it. If it doesn't look right, you can just keep it the way it is.

Even then JavaScript is a front-end language and has no access to system resources. Couldn't you specifically disable the IFRAME tag? Anyway, It's up to you, I'm merely providing my 2 cents.

This new KL stuff got some transparency going on! Everyone can see everyone else's move. When you write on someone's blog, it'll show what you wrote on KL front page. Same when you post a comment on a friend's page. Creepy or cool? Any way to block this stuff?

Yes, I don't to see my comments on people's blogs showing on the front page cuz I don't want to flood the "Current Activity" page

Thanks for your input, but Javascript can be injected in multiple HTML tags besides the iframe. Even though Javascript is a front-end language, it can do harm to an end user with pop-ups, redirects to malicious sites, steal cookies that may contain sensitive information, etc.. vBulletin does not recommend enabling it because of many security reasons, and we will stick to that.

This is a new feature and we'll be looking at how to configure this feature so it won't be so flooded.
