Try one of those Chinese operated auction sites, can't think of the names right now, but they're notorious for making knock-offs that look like the real stuff. There was a big bust for hockey jerseys around my area a couple years ago (all made in China).

There were so many post/ hype about him. Although I don't watch much sport, I gotta say he got my attention. His coordination with passing the ball and shooting it in is unbelievable. How he switched off with one hand to another to shoot the ball is incredible too. This guy got mad skills.

Knicks win five in a row. Jeremy Lin with another 20 point game. He came damn near close to a triple-double. Fucking impressive.

Stat wise, this was his most terrible game. 8 for 24 shooting and 6 turnovers. It's alright though. He'll smooth it out over time. Even for a terrible shooting night, he managed to pull 20 and a few assists/rebounds away from a triple double.

He went 7 for 12 in the first half and dead cold in the second half. Knicks win anyway. LOL!

His weakness is: TURNOVER. He makes way too many turnovers.

As a Rockets fan, it sucks that we let him go. But he wouldn't have a chance to play on the court with Lowry and Dragic in front of him on the roster. He looks good now, but it has only been 4 games. I think ppl will probably start exposing his weaknesses after seeing him play more. And with Melo coming back, it may mess up the chemistry of the team. We will have to see.

Jeremy Lin is the Tim Tebow of Basketball. At the end of the year, people aren't going to be talking about him. He's just gonna be an afterthought like many one hit wonders before.

All the LINSANSITY hype will die down and the Asian guys who were following him will eventually scatter back into their rooms, curl up into a ball and bust out their PS3 NBA jams 2k12 trying to live out their fantasy of what could of been.

Sorry to burst your bubbles and rain on your parade guys. I'm not a hater, but a realist. I'm just not blinded by the hype, media coverage and sports editorials treating him like he's some type of Sun God and the next coming of Kobe Bryant. The most hilarious thing I've read was a person who said he will be better than Michael Jordan.

LOL. I can already see it now, this thing is a disaster waiting to happen.

Lol @ Socks. Just give credit where credit's due, man. His stats are impressive and he's even managed to get the attention of non-bball fans. That says a lot. Whether he continues with his success or not, he's already lingendary.

I wish the linsanity would stop so people like you would stop talking about it. Jeremy Lin doesn't care about the hype. All he wants to do is go out and help his teammate win.

People like me who enjoys watching basketball follow the stats because the stats don't lie. Linsanity and all that crap, those are just media fluffs and those thing eventually dies off on its own.

What the Knicks needed was a consistent point guard and they found it in Lin. Impressive for a bench player who hasn't played heavy minutes to come out of the gate gunning with five straight games of 20+ plus points and whatever crazy else he accomplished in just five short games. Shooting over 50% and becoming the first of his kind to do what he did since 3 decades ago. His accomplishment this week catapulted his stats in comparison to when M.J and Kobe and Lebron first started. Nobody is saying he's better than any of those players. The stats was telling us that nobody else has done what Lin did since... and for a player like him to come out of nowhere and do this is unheard of.

Not to mention he's carrying his whole team on his back without the help of Amare & Carmelo. Before, the Knicks were horrendous to watch. Now, they're a force to wreck with. There's a reason people are hyped, and it's not just because he's Asian. He's overall a good basketball player & an ideal team player.

CSJ, you should be happy/proud, since you're creepily Asian-obsessed. You malfunctioning or something? lol

    His weakness: The Left side.

The T-Wolves figured him out in the 2nd half of tonight's game. He ran pick and rolls all over the TWolves until they went into the half with a game plan and they came out and shut Lin down to just 5 points spread out over two quarters and he made only one successful shot and missed plenty and turned the ball over plenty.

The other teams are going to study the TWolves game and utilize the exact game plan to shut Lin down. Force him to his weak side left and plug the lane.

I have this feeling Lin doesn't want to carry the team all by himself and he shouldn't have to anyway. He seems like the type of player that might not take too well to having a bad night. He'll probably shut himself cold for 2 or 3 games in the process. A bad night as a result of him carrying a team that is.

I'll start Baron Davis (when he's healthy) and put Lin on the bench so that Carmelo doesn't have to re-adjust his game. Lin can log in big minutes and do his things but to put the role of leadership squarely on his shoulder, it's a bit early right now. He commits too many turnovers and sometime falls into bad decision making as well, which translates into turnovers. Sometime Poor shot selections. Shots he doesn't need to take, he takes it. He's a damn good player but somewhere inside his head, he's screaming for everyone to shut up, I bet.

However, if Carmelo have to re-adjust his game. Put Lin in the starting position.

The Knicks are riding on him like he was a seasoned pro and that is too much burden to carry for a young player like him. It will be a breath of fresh air for Lin when the two superstars return.

Listen to his interviews, he doesn't really say it but he implies that he'll be happier when the superstar comes back and takes over the wheel.

What you guys are essentially celebrating is mediocrity and that's exactly what Jeremy Lin is - mediocre. That's like bragging about getting a C+ on your math test and bringing it home to show your parents. "Look, look mom, I didn't get an F!! I got a C+ instead, lets go to KFC and celebrate!!!"

Look, I can understand him being an Asian guy in the NBA is a cause of celebration but don't over do it. Don't call him one of the 7 natural wonders of the world or some type of mythological Chinese dragon waiting to consume people's souls and suck the human blood out of everyone like a god damn medieval Vampire from 200 B.C.

He had 3-4 good games against subpar, bottom of the barrel opponents. His last game came against an aging Lakers team which everyone can agree on isn't what it use to be. You can hardly call the Laker's a play off elite team anymore so I don't understand all this hype surrounding him.

If he can do what he's been doing in the last 3-4 games against ELITE, playoff teams while playing against TOP ranked point guards like Derrick Rose, if he can do this consistently for years and years and not just a few games, then you find a believer in me. Until then, he's still got a lot to prove.l

On top of that, this is coming off a season where most of the players aren't even in good shape because of the NBA lockout and long off season. Players seem tired, lethargic and flat out uninterested.

Even the great Charles Barkley said something similar:

"As an NBA fan I want to apologize to the fans," Barkley said during his on-air interview transcribed by Sports Radio Interviews. "I cannot believe how bad the NBA is right now. I'm a fan first and foremost; watching the NBA right now, I'm embarrassed about the product we're putting out there right now. It's no fun for me to watch these games. I feel bad for the fans."

"They have all these built-in excuse about it's the lockout. Let me tell you something if these teams played once a week they would still suck." - Charles Barkley

Look, I wanna stress again, I'm not a hater. All I'm saying is, instead of celebration his mediocre talent, people should focus more on his character, his hard work and ethics. They should be celebrating his parents (tiger moms and Lion Dads) for instilling a good foundation and paving the life he has today. They should focus more on the racism he had to endure while attending a prestigious Harvard University and question why in 2012, such a thing still happens? Racism in a university of all places. can you believe that? It just proves this sort of behavior is widespread and is deeply ingrained in all levels of society. It's not just in the streets and in movies but also in the education system, sports, religion, politics and the social fabric of society.

Those things are what WE should be celebrating, but instead most people will just ignore it, feed into the hype, eat their popcorn, drink their coca cola and watch a bunch of black guys in their natural habitat run wild like their forefathers did in Africa chasing a herd of wild zebra's across the Safari desert.

    Hilarious.

Dwilliams,Harris,Wall,(all top tier point guards) and even outdid kobe. but his greatest strength is his humility and his dynamic work ethic. he is no longer the hype of an unknown player but a success made cuz of perseverance. how can anyone not route for him?

guy above sounds like a hater lol

We're celebrating a player who is playing at his highest level for his first time as a starter but of course, you knowing absolutely nothing about basketball will just pick little tidbits of information from Yahoo! sports and pretend you know what you're talking about.

The ones that are falling into the media hype is you. You're the one reading all this crap about Linsanity. Frankly, the whole linsanity thing is embarassing to watch. It's distracting.

And no, those numbers put up by Jeremy Lin is far from medicore. Those are the kind of numbers put up by Chris Paul and any good PG on a daily basis.

And need I remind you that Lin was sitting at the end of the bench before his Coach gave him a chance a to play? and is now part of the starting five?

One wishes he could find a bench player that can put up 25/28/23/38/20 pts five games in a row.

He's not supposed to be making 20+ points a game anyway. What is medicore to you, Socks? tell me, since you know so much about basketball. Go ahead and explain what a medicore performance or stats is supposed to look like in regards to Lin's stats.

This is what a mediocre player stats look like if he performed this way consistently.

4 pts off a 2 for 20 <------------shot selections/Shot attempts/Shot made this is IMPORTANT!!!! when you want to call someone medicore.
    2 assists, sometime zero.
    1 rebounds.

Unreliable. Bad shooter. Those are what makes players mediocre.

If you don't like reading, let me give a visual of what MEDIOCRE is: THIS!!

Here's a suggestion, how about trade Carmelo out and let Lin do his thing with the team. At the moment, I'm liking the team's chemistry and everyone did their part to get the team winning. That's how basketball should be played & no one would have to carry the burden for the whole team.

I hope D'Antoni x out Melo cuz signing a stat-watching, shot foisting diva like him never got anyone a championship.

    woooooooooo weeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

what an amazing 5-game run this kid has orchestrated! i'm damn speechless. lin's got skills!! this is what black mamba, kobe, said of yellow mamba:

“Players don’t usually come out of nowhere. If you go back and take a look, his skill level was probably there from the beginning, but no one ever noticed. … It’s a great story. It’s a testament to perseverance and hard work. I am sure he has put in a great deal of work to always have that belief in himself, now he has the opportunity to show it.”
the only knock i got on the knicks is about coach D. why did he put lin on the court all of 2nd half without giving him a break? it was a back-to-back game for the knicks. what a terrible move. lin obviously looked exhausted throughout, which was why his shooting percentage went downhill in the 2nd half compared to a remarkable 1st half shooting spree.

anyway, there should be no more doubters about lin. stephen a. smith was a doubter and now is a believer. sadly, i don't see the same happening to tuksuhew.
