Hair today, gone tomorrow

Would it lower your self-esteem if you were to be going bald? Would you embrace your U-shaped hairline? Would you comb your hair over or get a haircut to make you look less bald or just shave it all off? Would you feel less attractive than your younger days? Just a few thoughts cuz a few of my friends try to avoid the topic and actually get offended.

I'm bald but I don't care. I just shave it all to save on shampoo...lol I always wear hats anyways, unless to formal events.

The hair loss dominant gene is on the mother's side. Just see if your mother's brothers have hair or not.

Hair is one of the sexiest parts of me, I'll be depressed if I start to lose some. I'd be one of those ppl that use rogaine or maybe a toupee lawlz. Bald is not my style.

Not gonna lie, I’d be depressed if I were balding. I have a baby face from hell. Being bald with a baby face would just look all screwy. I dunno...me without my hair is like Superman without his cape.

EDIT: Ok, I just noticed (without even reading others comments before posting my own) that Ivan and I almost always have the same type of reply in the thread. Eerie.

If you're gonna go bald...shave it. You're not gonna fool anyone with comb overs and toupes. And to think you can, you're saying the world is stupid or think you are good looking enough to be the one bald guy to make it a trend! No...it will never be, Julius Caesar has come and go...and that hairstyle should've been buried with him along time ago. Shaved bald guy is sexy, but also keep it mind, since you don't have to worry about your hair...you can compensate that time on chiseling up those muscles. Nothing more unflattering than bald and belly!

I think it depends upon the person, if he/she is very conscious about his/her physical appearance, baldness can be one of the reason to have a lower self-esteem. But women are the number one who can get lower self-esteem if loosing hair is the center of conversation.
