So, I was in Vegas this past weekend. It was fun and all but it wasn't because of the clubs, bars, or gambling scene that got my attention but because I had a first in Vegas.
And that is the guilty sin of...eating a french dipped sandwich.
I started off with the pickle and the tomato. Both were mouth watering and extra crisp and then it came to the succulent taste of thin sliced roast beef on a baguette which made it so wonderfully enticing to my taste buds. Just one bite of it took me off into an oblivion. And I would have to say it was the best french dipped sandwich I've ever consumed, granted that it was the ONLY french dipped sandwich I've ever consumed.
If you happen to be in Vegas, go to Sugar Factory and try this sandwich out along the Strip. I was not disappointed after paying $15 for my meal.
So, tell me: what was the best food you've ever tried and where it was at? Post pictures of your all-time favorite food.

beside khmer food, one of the best food i've tried was my bestfriend's mom cooking. no pic![]()
I wished I had a digital camera on my first trip to cambodia. I could have taken a picture of this tasty dish of stir fried ants in cambodia.
I love steak dishes at vegas![]()
Sugar Factory is super fun!!! I don't think I have found amazing food in Vegas yet ( my opinion) But everyone has to check out Earls Sandwich. Great subs and it's cheap!!!

My all time favorite. Can NOT be beaten by other food; though I am open to all food from all ethnicities/nationalities.

A good ol john roast cheesesteak. i'm a philadelphian and man this is my comfort/hangover food!
I can't wait to go to Vegas so I can hit up the buffets at the hotels!
It's a tie between all-americans, bbq ribs and chicken fried steak. Both go great with mash potatoes :p
Best thing I remember eating in Vegas was a chicken Sandwich from wichcraft located in the MGM grand. It was one of the best sandwiches I have ever tasted.
As for best thing I ever ate...I don't have one. Although I do have a lot of memorable dishes that remind me of different trips I've taken or adventures I've gone on.
if ur in Vegas check out Andre's in the Monte Carlo there french cruise it good
This is the only way to win me over!

Buffet at the Mirage was pretty good.
the wynn probably have the best buffet in vegas. and trust me, I go to vegas for the buffets. heck, I even ran from one buffet to another just to eat!
but as for best food I've eaten.. idk, kinda hard cus it depends on my cravings. I think what really got me is this prime rib from Captain Jacks in sunset beach. gotta warn you though, you'll be the only asian in that restaurant cus everyone else is white
awww..I couldn't get internet access at the hotel bc they charge $11.99 for it. Eff that! I wanted to check this thread for the place you recommended cuz I couldn't remember. We actually, out of all places, ended up having dinner at The Sugar Factory this past Sunday.
I ordered this Rosemary (somethin somethin, I don't remember) sandwich. Costs $16 and I couldn't even finish it. It was good though. I just get full easily =(
