Lakers looking to pick up Gilbert Arenas, or Allen Iverson. As a hardcore Lakers fan, I can say that anything right now is better than Derek Fisher. I love you Derek but you need to sit your ass down on the bench. Actually, I don't really care if Lakers materialize into a title contender or not this season. Right now, the team I want to win the championship is New York Knicks. I've made up my mind and I'm rooting for the Knicks because they desperately need a championship. They haven't won any in 3 decades. I don't want Lebron to win anything. In fact, I hope Lebron goes through his NBA career without winning a single ring. Jeremy Lin is what the NBA needs and a championship will only make this story even sweeter.

Lakers aren't going to effective this year. Mike Brown defensive minded play is a big transition from that of Phil Jackson's triangle offense. Before this whole Mike Brown business, I actually wanted Brian Shaw to coach the Lakers. I've added my concerns when Mike Brown was signed as head coach last year. Kobe and I both share the same frustration when we lost Lamar Odom. Actually Lamar Odom is just a big crybaby anyway. Why do you leave a team you've won championship with just because you're upset they wanted to trade you over Chris Paul?

We have the crappiest bench in the league. A lousy bench isn't going to cut it. You need someone who can provide when the main player sits down to catch his breath.

This feels like Lakers 2006 all over again. Sure, they're spotted up in the big 8 at the moment but man, look at how tight the Western conference race is. It's anyone's ball game as they battle for the 8th seed. One wrong move and you could just be one game away from not going to the playoff.

I know huh?! Damn, the Lakers defense are nowhere to be found. They are terrible. The best player (to me) to come out of the Lakers' bench is Goudelock, and he ain't even a solid 6th man for the Lakers! Ain't that some shit?

As for the Lakers defending the pick n roll, i totally agree with you. They're in trouble when it comes to it. Man, these guys literally don't know what screen and pass means. I remember our Lakers getting smoked by steve Nash in the playoffs. Even Devin Harris, when he was with the Nets, took advantage of the Lakers defense. It's okay though, we'll be okay with Kobe.

We need a solid PG!!!!!!!!!! I know Gilbert is legit. yes he is....I can't deny this fact, if only it was 6 years ago!!! ahha. Gilbert Arenas WAS good.
