Wow, did you guys see how Ibaka didn't toss the ball out for a 3 after getting the rebound with seconds left? Stupid! Their stupidness was our come-up!

Kobe-wouldnt stop taking difficult shots.Pau-cant become anything other than the pillsbury dough boy.Bynum-in trance mode if he doesnt get to touch the ball.Session-forgot his skills at the slum.Bench-drink unsanitized h2o all the time.Coach-couldnt adjust like his big head suggest. The only 1 person without fault is MWP, then again, he doesnt contribute much.I want a house clean next season.

Tidus, that goofy 3 point shot where Kobe jumped from left to right at top of the key was a real head shaker. He had like 13 seconds left on the clock. I was expecting him to do his signature pump fake move in an attempt to draw a foul. =(

Gasol cost the game anyway and Kobe helped him. Westbrook basically gave the game away when he committed the turnover (what a blessing) and all Lakers had to do was take it easy.

Similar to Game 2 where I was screaming "Do not pass the ball in front of Durant!" and seconds later, Gasol loses the ball off a Durant steal. It is hilarious how Lakers screwed up the game at the exact same spot as Game 2.

The positive side of me says Lakers take Game 5 and Game 6 but lose in Game 7. That is me being generous with my silly prediction. HAHA.

Goodnight Lakers. OKC is going to get their ass kicked in hard by Spurs. 2012 = Spurs championship.

Well Tidus, I did feel bad for Kobe. He made more dunks in this game then he had all year long. The announcer kept talking about how he's the only Lakers left coming out of the Phil Jackson era (Gasol/Bynum being the other 2) Kobe is surrounded by completely new players and new personnel. Kobe might as well just say "My old team is gone, I might as well just go to a new team and have myself a change of scenery." Right??? it wouldn't make any difference since new Lakers are just like being in a new team altogether.

Kobe worked his ass off in tonight's game. TOO BAD THE OTHER LAKERS WERE JUST DOWNRIGHT TERRIBLE. >=(

Ramon Session sucks. Lakers need to bring in Jeremy Lin.

Ya, sessions has no heart, he didnt even attempt to use his skills as a PG. I did like him during the regular season but he should be in the 1st class priority mail package. I really want Lin now cuz he has that fire in him all the time on the court but NYK will match any offer cuz he a big marketing asset

Did you say Jeremy Lin??? haha....Ramon Sessions is good enough, but of course, Jeremy will be a huge plus to the team.

I feel ya on your Kobe analysis. People can continue saying that Kobe was doing too much, this, and that blah blah blah. The bottom line is that he's a true competitor. He wants to win. He would dive to the floor for the ball where some players don't risk getting hurt. There is nothign wrong wanting to win and hating to lose, and he's got that mentality.

I hope Kobe never leaves LA. I want to see a statue of Kobe created next to Magic's when I go to the Staples Center.

Tidus, you don't want to cut Ramon some slack? I mean, the dude came to the team late in the season. He had to learn a new system along with new players as well as the big city culture. Furthermore, this is the first time he's been in the playoffs so thsi has been a positive learning experience for him. I think he has the talent and physicality to run the Laker squad, something the Lakers hasn't had since Nick Van Exel was around.

Next year, guys. Next year, things will be better!

sessions is blake 2.0, mediocre at best. Is he usable? Sure, yes but he is not a starter for a contending team. As a matter of fact, he never started for any team much like blake. Good players will find ways to contribute regardless how long he has been with the team and out of the 12 playoff games, sessions produced not more than 1 game. I thought fisher was done.....sigh. 2 of the 3 games lost had a lot to do with kobe sucking and chucking but he has heart and him and MWP r the only 2 that want to show pride as a basketball players for basketball reasons.

Sigh, I'm not even excited about next seasons Lakers. Mike Brown is just boring as a coach. Kobe isn't going to be around for long so Lakers better take advantage of his time there before he's gone forever.

Something big needs to happen. I don't want to see the same roster next year.

No wayyyy, Tidus!! I beg to differ. Ramon is not even close to being "Blake 2.0"! Blake does not have the athleticism like Ramon. As far as being a starter in a contending team, you are right, Ramon has never played for a contending team. But it's not his fault. When you look at Steve Blake's career, his highlights are when he was with the Blazers. Even when during his time there with the Blazers, his team didn't go to the Western Conference Finals. I'm just saying, though I still feel Ramon needs more experience in a contending team, he has the skillset much more reliable than what Steve's got to offer. In the long run, I truly believe Ramon will grow more as a player than Blake has ever had.

What do you guys think will happen next year? Think like Mitch Kupchak, look at your wallet, and see what you can afford for your team. Being as reasonable as one could be, do you think the Lakers could get someone of a high caliber player? It ain't easy. We already got a nice deal with Metta World Peace - the guy wants to play in LA and willingly take low pay for it. That's a true spirit. Who else is willing to do this?

Like i said, besides a rare few ie Billups, Lin, u can sort of see how players will turn out based on on court swagger. The thing is Session has the ability to be good but he doesnt show any "fire" in him. He will probably developed into something good but the lakers cant afford to be in rebuild mode now.

I see your point now. I hear ya. It now depends on Mitch's plans for the team. It's going to be interesting how things are going to turn out next season

@K825, think of Kobe as our window of opportunities. Take whatever years he have left in the team and make sure you build around that (and fast). Building a team around Kobe is more important now than it was 5 years ago.

Do not squander his last remaining years because Lakers have already squandered a perfect opportunity when Phil Jackson was coaching last year. Kobe isn't going to sit still for another season of playoff elimination. He knows his chances are dwindling down to zero.

Make crazy moves and make crazy trades. I don't care. Gasol/Bynum needs to go. There are no more time left on the clock for Lakers organization because they're about to lose their greatest player ever when he retires.

Both Gasol and Bynum has to go? That's a pretty bold move if you're in management. Considering that big men are difficult to come by, i'm not sure that is going to fly. Players over 7 feet tall is like trying to find a unicorn in a Cambodian forest. They're valuable when you got them, and that's how the Lakers see it. However, I gotta go on your side halfway at least. One of the big men has to go; Gasol or Bynum can't be there on the court at the same time. Maybe their chemistry ain't working?

Who do you think the Lakers could get with Gasol or Bynum? It has to be a trade. I don't see a lot of awesome unrestricted/restricted free agents out there next season besides Chauncey Billips. Regardless, they need to do something quick! The team needs to build around Kobe while he's got it going. They have no time right now.

I'm not surprised they're out of the playoffs. In fact, their performance left me wondering how the hell they stayed in as long as they did lol. I used to not hate the Lakers back when Magic Johnson and Kareem Jabbar was playing. Since then, the culture of the team from those days has been noticeably dissipating over the decades, and the current Lakers are absolutely nothing like the Lakers of that day where they were a team oriented group of MEN functioning as one unit. Now, there are so many distractions going on with that team it's no wonder they're at where they are. If ever they start back playing the game because of the love of the sport oppose to for personal notoriety, I think they may be winners again. With all the internal problems the team has had, they are lucky to have made it to the second round of the playoffs. Management has a lot of rethinking to do and subsequent adjustments to make if the franchise has any hope for maintaining it's dignity down the road.

I've been wishing for Steve Nash for so long that the news itself didn't come as a surprised to me at first. It felt like I've already heard the news before years ago even though those headlines were all in my head. The fourth of July was a strange date to announce a major trade but after the fireworks ended, I came home and sat down and had to convince myself Nash is now an L.A Lakers.

    I still can't believe it.

We still need superman. Time to deal away one of our big man. Nash will make us much better, but is he enough to beat OKC and Miami, NO. More work needs to be done by Lakers.
