It's pretty late right now in Massachusetts but I'm wide awake. Who wouldn't be? I recently made a big move from CA this month with a handful of cash, my laptop, and some clothes (due to a new gig I landed). Still haven't adjusted to the time difference. I literally went apartment hunting the moment I landed and signed a lease the next day. Man, they didn't even care about my credit...as long as I had the dough. It was also frikken humid and there was no AC installed so I had to purchase one of those window AC's that i'd always see on TV. Costed me a bundle. What's next? The usual...National Grid/N-Star, Charter bundle, etc. which is how I'm now online. For the past couple of weeks, my only nutrition was rice, eggs, hotlinks, and threy kaw. My apartment is still completely empty with only an air mattress. It gets real creepy at night when there's complete silence, every movement echoes, and the floors squeak.

For a sense of normalcy, I contacted a relative in Boston who took me out to the Bruins parade yesterday. Man, hockey is no joke around here. A lot of white folks out here too with open racism. I encountered a Bruins fan who was drunk as shit and he screamed out "yeahhh! gooks! wooo!" and he proceeded to give me a high 5. I didn't know what to think.. I've never encountered such open racism before.

That's it... waiting for my first pay check next month to begin pimpin out my apartment. Really excited about that. And finally start building my savings account...geez. It's been 4 years since I had a job.

BTW, i'm lookin for a used car under 2 grand. Does anyone know anyone who know anyone who is sellin?
