What to do in Madison WI

I feel like going some where for one of the summer weekend for a breather from work and home. I'm thinking Madison WI as it's not too far a drive for me and fuel is crazy expensive. Any suggestions on what I can do or any famous places I can visit?

    I <3 Madison! I was there last summer and people are really chilled and super nice
    My two favorite places to go were Memorial Union Terrance and State street. My favvvvvorite place to eat Mediterranean Cafe. It's really good
