So I was randomly surfing the net when I came across this image. At first I thought the answer was easy, then it didn't. Was wondering if anyone else could solve this?
the correct answer is 'NONE' There are no correct answers on the board. "C" gave it away.
I'm gonna use process of elimination here, and since there's two 25% that makes me 50% of getting a correct answer. I'll put my money on B. And if the answer is "none" then I think that's a shit question cuz "none" wasn't part of a choice in the answers, which makes it unfair.
...what's the question?
Reminds me of philosophy class lol
I purposely ignored the 60% cuz I think that's just there to throw me off. But if I considered it and all 4 choices...then percentage-wise, it would be 25%. But since there's two 25%, I'm back at thinking I'd get 50% chance of getting it right. Geezus, this is mind boggling :/ What's the answer?

There is no right answer to this. You have a 25% chance of picking either A/B/C/D You have a 50% chance of picking B or C (assuming you know one of two answers might be correct and you've narrowed it down to just two. Here, we've narrowed it down to B and C) The question is: IF YOU WERE TO RANDOMLY PICK THE CORRECT ANSWER, WHAT ARE YOUR CHANCES OF PICKING THE RIGHT ONE? The question isn't even a question about finding the correct answer. It's just a question about the probability of picking the correct answer. The probability is ZERO since there are no correct answer to this puzzle. Eliminate 60% and the other 25% and you're left with HALF again. 25/50 Quarter percent/Half percent. Either way, you're going to guess B or C. If you picked 50%, you're wrong because there are 3 other choices besides 2 that you could have gone with.
if both 25%'s are correct, then 50% is correct. if 50% is correct, then both 25%'s are correct which means 75% is the answer but it's not on the board. damn, i just confused myself. welllll, the right answer isn't on the board cuz it keeps going back and forth. this is probably another retarded question/answers that isn't clear enough giving people a hard time thinking.
the answer is: I DONT GIVE A FUCK

THIS IS A SHIT QUESTION!!!! lol But if I choose one of the 25%, since there's two of them wouldn't that mean I have a 50% chance of getting it right if I disregarded the 60%? Here's how I look at it: Eliminate C and I'm left with A, B, D Since A & D are the same and I can choose either one, then I'm actually left with two choices. Therefore, I would say I have a 50% chance of choosing the right one.
I just don't wanna choose "none" since it's not part of the choices, so the probability of choosing that is zero lol
K, I just looked it up. It's an infinite loop of 25% and 50% That's just lame. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/in...7230128AAcg9DQ I will still settle with 50% cuz despite it giving us 4 options, we're still actually left with 2 options since 1 of those are there twice. So probability is 50%, I don't give a fuzz what the actual answer is!

Kirk cheated Spock's Kobayashi Maru Examination after Spock programmed it to have a no-win scenario. If we just look at the options in front of us without questioning it, how are are to know if there isn't a hidden 'true answer'???
If I'm told to choose from an option of answers, I don't like there to be a hidden choice of choosing none. But you're right, sometimes we've got to look outside the box cuz what's given isn't enough. But if I was a professor asking this question, I would have accepted 25% or 50% cuz it's not exactly wrong, just not the only answer.
echo rand(1,4);
You guys are correct -- there is no answer, this is a paradoxal question. But to clear some things simply, you have four choices: a,b,c and d. Since it would there would be a 25 percent chance of getting the answer correct but there are two 25 percent choices, your answer then sways to 50 percent and since there is only one choice of that, theb you're back at 25 and you're back in the loop. There are however a few arguments you can make for this question like, answers a,b and d are all correct or that if you neglected all the percentage answers then the obvious choice would be 25. The real kicker however, would be if they replaced the answer C with a 0 percent. If that happened, my mind would break.
I think the real question is...will we ever know the right answer? And that my friends, is some philosophical shit.
