Fox 25 in Boston is reporting that children at Stall Brook Elementary School in Bellingham were told to sing, “We love the U.S.A.” instead of “God Bless the U.S.A.”

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS, a small but never the less, a victory for millions of atheist, buddhists and non believers all over the country.

As they lose their power and their way of life slowly crumbles, a more equal and religious tolerate society will come to fruition.

Hopefully, they can do that all over the country and make it federal law.

They also need to take out "In God we trust" in all their currencies because that's offending everyone else as well.

I am not offended by God and I am not offended that people believes in God. We have the right to choose what we believe in when you live in a great nation like the United States of America.

Vesper, you're not offended because you live a life of subservience.

But, I dare you to go around and say "Buddha bless you" to anyone who sneezes in public. Do that for a week and let me know how many fights or mean stares you end up getting into.

I dare you take all your dollar bills and cross out "In God We Trust" and instead write "In No God we trust" and lets see how long it takes before your house get's burned down.

I dare you to tell people you don't celebrate Christmas, Saint Valentines Day, Easter or Saint Patrick's day because you aren't Christian and let me know how many friends you still have.

You see, your religious freedoms are violated everywhere you go. It's shoved down your throat in every level of institution, from the monetary system (In God we Trust), to the political system (every U.S. president is Christian). sports institutions (teams always pray before games and sing the national anthem), national holidays (Christmas, Saint Valentines Day, Easter or Saint Patrick's day etc), to what we recite in school ( pledge of allegiance, under "God").

Why would I purposely want to make people angry? you like poking the Hornet's nest don't you? I will not cross out 'In God We Trust' just to get a reaction. What is that going to prove? you can't deface a federal note. Stay out of trouble and worry about something else like stocking up food and water.

i agree with you christmasSOCKSinJuly. i'm not offended but i like freedom of everything. i don't like how society forces religion or the word god on some things. cuz everytime i hear it, i filter it out sometimes. this is a small victory. but i do have bigger things to worry about like how to get a bigger paycheck and paying the bills. how u been bud?

    I'm angry and mad.

If you're not angry then there's something wrong with you.

But this story definitely put a smile on my face.

Hopefully the rest of the country follows suit.

I already have a 2 year supply of food and water in my canyon bunker. I planned ahead a year ago.
