ok finally a lovelife update. here goes. ok so my friend was job hunting and he comes over to my house with a job ad from the local newspaper. the job description went something like this, now hiring: cashiers, managers, and warehouse workers. i told him the only time i know of companies hiring for various positions simultaneously is during a grand opening meaning this is a new business or it's either a salvation army / goodwill / thrift store type of business. so we get to this place and sure enough it was a thrift store. i was dead on. it felt like winning the lottery when i made that prediction on the type of business it was going to be. we both got an application each and the employee tells us that we can fill out our job application at the back of the store at the furniture aisle.

so we get there and i see this cute brunette sitting on a sofa filling out an application. she wore glasses and had on a red top with a black business skirt - very sexy indeed. she was fit and had some curves. she had that whole naughty librarian look. i decided to sit right next to her and my friend sat in the sofa behind us. i noticed she didn't have a ring on her wedding finger. i couldn't help thinking to myself that if this girl was single and if she was also a genuinely sweet girl, i would love to make babies with her.

i decided to break the ice and said, "so you're applying for a job here too huh?"

i think she said something like "yep".

"are you applying for the manager position?"

"nope", she said.

i told her i was at a job fair earlier before i came to apply for a job at this thrift store. she said she was at the same job fair earlier too. that's when i realized we had something in common. and this is also when i decided i had to make my move. i opened up my phone and typed the following message for her to read:

"hey not to be rude, but i think ur super duper cute u kinda resemble lindsay lohan, slightly. r u taken?"

i nudged her and told her to read the message on my phone's screen.

she replied back saying, "no."

then my next message: "i hope i didn't offend u by saying that and sorry my timing is awful. can i get to know u?"

she didn't even answer this second question by saying yes or no or nodding her head but she proceeded to give me her number anyways.

as she's giving me her number, i noticed my friend who was sitting behind us finished filling out his application before her and he heads to the front of the store to give it to the manager.

as i'm punching her number and saving it into my phone, i told her i was calling her right now (i usually do this to test if the phone number the girl is giving me is real. if the girl has their phone with them, it would ring or vibrate). but instead she told me that she left her phone in the car.

then i said nice to meet you. what was your name again? she gave me her name and she got up and left. then i got up and left a few minutes after her. i didn't even finish completing my job application. i went to the front of the store and i could still see my guy friend talking to the manager. and that girl was gone. i even went back in the store to look for her to see if i could treat her to lunch today but she was nowhere to be found. also my friend said that he was talking to the manager the whole time and he didn't see her get out of the store, unless the store had another exit. i think we had chemistry and i would definitely bring this girl home off of first impression and chemistry. i just hope the phone number she gave me is real. only time will tell... and right now it's 3:00pm and i haven't got a call back yet. tick tock. tick tock...
