When you get over your greatest fear on the other side lays your greatest life. But what if what you fear is also your happiness? Would you push it away or take it in and overcome it? Build your strength. Don't let anyone's opinion affect your future because it already affected your past. Don't let your past define who you are. Learn from your past but CREATE yourself for the future.

"Circumstances and situations do color life but you have been given the mind to choose what the color shall be"

So give me a paintbrush I'll help put the colors in your life. Two minds are better than one. You and I can create a masterpiece faster together. (Yea I am smoooooottthh LOL)

I was taught that if I don't appreciate something god will take it away. I always count my blessings. I show my appreciation where it's needed. I try not to take anything for granted.

Go count your blessing kids!!!

    Thank you. I wish I am a writer so then I can express my thoughts better and provoke feelings so that it won't be trapped in my head. When people don't understand you and your appearance out cast you.. you feel completely alone no matter where you are or whomever you're with . Your safe haven is in your head but that also make you a prisoner without ever realizing it.

    Becareful, giving me a paint brush to your life is allowing me to dig deep and see through your soul. I can bring out emotions you locked away decades ago. That's why I I have no friends LOL.

    I see the world how dog sees it: in black and white. Grey. Everything looks cool and ancient. The only time I see color is when I go to bed and dream of something.

    yes true for the second part but have faith...and the torment ends when you open up to friends...and then you shall live free never to be shackled again =)

    but for the first part... reread it...the best of writers that i learned from the likes of shakespear, poe, nostrdamus, and so forth discovered the best messages are short but well accentuated and too the point...via it be sonnets, quatrains or poems...i loved this piece

    Poe is depressing to me LOL. I've tried this method before. I think opening up and when they don't understand frustrates me more than keeping quiet. LOL I LOVE Nostrdamus. Poetry captures my heart. I am tone deaf so I focus on lyrics and quite frankly, I haven't heard any good ones lately.
