Happy holidays everyone!

I'm finally done with my Christmas shopping! Picked up the last few things this morning for my baby nephew's stocking and two movies for mi madre! Clash of the Titans and Planet of the Apes. She hasn't seen those yet and mentioned she wanted to see Clash of the Titans, I added Planet of the Apes because I know she'll be into that movie.

Tomorrow I'm taking the Polar Plunge! I've raised $142.31 all going to Alaska Special Olympics, in return, I get to jump into an icy cold lake, Goose Lake. Sort of sounds like a bad deal huh? lol oh well I'm super excited as this will be my first! Hope I don't get sick! My friend/teammate will be dressed up as batman and I will be wearing my old tootsie roll costume! It's super cute PLUS it's easy to take off!

This past weekend I had to move into another apartment because the previous one I was at, the neighbor across the hall had a busted water pipe that ruined his whole apartment and water seeped into mine. I like my new apartment, its 10 minutes close to work which is also close to lots of restaurants and stores. My new apartment has a big deck! and I love it! Can't wait for summer!! HIBACHI! :)


I was really disappointed yesterday because I went to Barnes and Noble to pick up The Hunger Games trilogy set but couldn't find any and although Amazon has the set for $31, I couldn't wait that long for the books. Even this morning I was all bummed out. BUTTTT while at Walmart picking up some last xmas items, I found the books for 30% off! so $12.59 each! No tax in Alaska :) That is one of the reasons I am SUPER happy today!!!! But even better! I work for the dept. of education and guess whaaatttt, we get winter break! 3 weeks off baby! And today is my last workday! And that is why I couldn't wait for those books if I ordered it on Amazon, really want to read it this winter break.

Getting my snowboard binding and boots this weekend finally!!! Can't wait to hit the hills (yeah hills no mountain haha) with the kids!

Oh! So funny, so I stopped at my mama's last night and my lil sister was like, Bong Chanda I wanna go see your new apartment, I had a dream I went there and there were lots of presents. So I replied, "PSH, I can't have presents if I dont even have a christmas tree". he he he, I lied. and I think she half-way believed me. lol Cant wait for Christmas and see the kids faces light up.
