Despicable about what happened Wednesday afternoon. I got off of work, when my husband told me our friend Eddie was at a McDonalds in Seal Beach an hour or two before the shooting happened at the Salon next to it. 8 killed, 3 injured I believe...I didn't get to read it yet, but just based off of what my friend told me. Crazy thing is, on his Facebook, he posted..."God Forbid if I passed away, the strawberry parfait would be his weapon of choice" a couple of hours before it happened, did he realize...that it would have happened if he hadn't taken his break early. Gives me goosebumps. I feel for those victims families.... someone lost their mom, sister, wife, and even a brother/husband/father. Makes me think of the time my hubster was at a friends BBQ downstairs at my mom's complex, and 5 minutes after he came up, I heard gunshots, looked out and it was from where the BBQ was that I saw a 16 year old kid shot before my eyes.

My thoughts will be with the family of those whose lives were lost at the Salon. RIP!

    So this is him posting up his receipt on facebook a couple of hours prior to the shooting, then found out after posting about using his strawberry sunday as his "murder weapon"...the incident happen. That mofo! His fault for jinxing this incident.

    My neighborhood is safe, that was my moms place a few years back but they have much more security there now.

    I heard about this incident yesterday when I was heading to class. Some students were talking about it. Seal Beach is usually a safe area but that was crazy to hear that an event like this happened. It was due to custody dispute. His ex wife worked at the salon and that was his main target but he ended up shooting who ever was there. It's crazy.

    So sad....and the one who ends up suffering the most is of course the kid. Sigh!!! Why are people so evil and weak!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ???????????
