I will be going on a mini road trip next month. I will be visiting several cities (for some sight seeing and shopping), one of which will be Calabasas, Calif. to visit the "Leonis Adobe" museum. I thought this place was pretty neat considering that it echoes very much like home, since I work at a historic site. Boy, was I in for something. The more I researched about the Leonis, the more chills I got about this place. It turns out that this place is evidently HAUNTED. In ...
I just got off the phone with Jason a few minutes ago and we were planning on how we were going to spend our Valentine's tomorrow, especially if the both of us work and get off at 6 p.m. Honesty, I am not too hyped about the "special day." To me, it's going to be just another day. This brings me to reflect back on the funny time when my boss emailed me in January and asked me about my prospective work schedule for the month of February. I told my boss that I had nothing ...

Today was a grand day for my brother - he got a car that he can finally call his own (so to speak)! Since I've worked at my current job for almost a year now, my dad thought it was a good time for me to purchase a car...for my brother. My dad knows I've maintained a good credit history, since I've enrolled for my first credit card at 18 years old. It also helped that 1) I am the owner of our doughnut shop and 2) I was the co-buyer of my 2011 Camry two years ago. Anyway, my dad was ...

My friend texted me last night and asked me what I was doing on Wednesday, Feb. 13. I told him that I work that day, but I get off at 6 p.m. He asked me if I could be a panel speaker for Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), which was a club that I was in when I was in college; the meetings are usually held at 7 p.m. I agreed; although, I was pretty flattered. He is currently vice president of the club. He thought I was a good candidate, because ...

Hello, I'm back on YouTube
My parents were talking with me yesterday about my plans for the future. I told them that I wanted to take care of them and have them live with me. Then they brought up how other people (their friends) see me: "This girl was hit by a car when she was little, and she had to go through months of physical rehabilitation, now she's the first one in her family to finish college and start work...soon she's going to buy a house for her parents to live with her; what a great daughter ...
I hate them with a passion. I hate to see people get bossed around and/or belittled. It's the most pathetic way to gain social acceptance or popularity. I've always built this mentality of, "If you mess with my friends or my family - then you're also messing with me." ...actually they don't even have to be a friend of mine. I just hate bullies, period! There were a number of times, that I stood up for strangers, in particular, for children. It's such a rewarding ...

This is a compelling video; what are your thoughts on it? As for me, I have mixed emotions about this particular music video. At first, the song itself didn't seem to match the music video, but now I get it the more I watched it. In sum, this song/video is about Cambodian (women) empowerment.
I really like how these gals dance! Too bad they didn't win the competition.
...to make a new friend! I made a new friend today in my advanced media design class. She is the sweetest gal alive and has the most positive and optimistic personality! She's really smart too, which is what I find most attractive in people. It's ironic; I had her in one of my classes two semesters ago, but we always sat across from each other. My design class only has about 15 people, so she sits next to me each class time. We just set up a lunch date for next Tuesday ...
