no Tidus is right...i would get the 50mm lens...although the zoom lens add ranges the image is no where near as sharp as the prime 50mm. On top of that the advantage of a 50 is how low you can set the aperture. For 100 bucks you get a 1.8 fast lens not bad. Then again everyone has their own preference. I been shooting a couple of years and the only lens I ever buy, rent and shoot with is all prime lense. Thats me

People will judge base on your look. That's the first thing they see. Not everybody have time to sit and get to know you. Just like a job interview, you go there dressing like you came from the jungle, they will not even want to talk you. First impression is very important.
I know it's natural for human to judge but at least try to get to know the person first before judging...
We judge and we get judged. If I judge, nothing to do with outter appearance, but depth of the eyes. This way I am more accurate and was able to look past a nice grey suit, or well manicured fingers and beyond make up. The eyes says it all....their intentions and what they know. Soul searching.

When a Khmer elders wants to "P-jop sach" literally mean "tie the kinship", they sees you as someone that is dependable, responsible, and best of all a humble person. If I were in your shoes, I would look at it as a harmless compliments and you don't have to say anything and let your mom deal with it. I bet your mom's proud of you when she hear that from staranger.

When I was in my early 20s, my parents would talk about the same things your parents did. It's a typical Cambodian parents conversation, something they can have a conversation about. I don't think it's a big deal, it's not like they doing it without actually asking you about it.
If I had a daughter, I'd make suggestions for her too. I'd give my opinion on who is a good guy and who's just a loser who has no future for her. Nothing is wrong with arrange marriage when two parties think each other are attractive, both are respectable and both have a decision in the matter.

That shut them up. btw, this was when I was all dressed up, getting ready to go to my grandma's funeral. They were lucky that I did not go full on BITCH MODE on their asses. I was close to but outta consideration for my dad, I didn't.
I don't mind if the boy is really hot looking and smart. Some people need to know that their kids are too ugly to say such thing. I dont like it either.

looks like a very intense study session. I remember it just like it was yesterday...Midterms and Finals week were HELL. I realized that the harder I study and the more stress I put onto my brain, the more likely I'll be to blank out during the test. On the other end, not studying enough doomed me as well. Take it easy, buddy. You're almost there. Btw, I could never concentrate in the library. I focus better outside, alone with my headphones on.

I know how you feel girl!!! I transferred to a different agency within the Derpartment. This agency dont give me 130$ bonus and 19 hr of vacation i usually get every end of the year. its a little but little goes long ways!!! 500$ is a big deal.

Sounds like when I was in Reno and my first day there I left my phone in the bathroom stall. I didn't figure it out till an hour later, and thankfully someone had turned into security. I was so relieved and thankful! Karma really does exist because I returned a lost phone at work just a few days before. I'm so glad that the person returned your stuff with everything still intact.

awe, awesome! there are still nice people around. i once dropped and lost my phone but got it back my dad lost his and got it back. only another time i lost my phone and i didnt get it back but 2 out of 3 isn't bad. lol its just good to know there are decent people around and who return items back to the original owners.

You know in Japan they have this reward system where whenever you return someone's jewelry, wallet, money etc, you get a point score on your record. The more credits you get, the more benefits you get like tax breaks, karma points etc. It's pretty cool.
I found a wallet with money and a cell once, I called their house number and they picked it up hehe, they were so happy and even hugged me lol!

night. i work the 6am-6pm and im too lazy to shower morning time, plus i'd have to dry my hair which will probably make me late since i wake up enough to get ready. but sleeping with wet hair is ugh and when i go to work it's poofy! hehe
