How can you say no to this adorable smile??????? I know I can't! I took him for an evening walk and we explored the surrounding. We played with some rain drops on the leaves. I pulled the leaves and all the water poured on him and he just screamed with happiness. So much glee!! When we got home Delson said "Orkun bong Sein" I almost died from happiness. Not long ago he started to called me bong sein. Now he put his words together to form sentences. He used to called me Sein...then ...
I'm trying to learn to drive after getting my permit but $75-80/hr that is just too much for a jobless broke student like me. This is such a pain. I have to wait for 3 months after getting my permit to make an appointment for the road test. I wish my mom can teach me but she works 6 days a week from dawn till dusk. If only I can drive, her life would be much easier.
This is the first summer I have to myself since I started college. I truly miss the busy day and hectic life as a student but spending time with my little cousin and catching up with some old friends isn't so bad. I've never spent more than a week with my cousin, so this summer will be the first time we will truly spend time together. I love the fact that even though I rarely see him due to school, he still loves me. Come to think of it, he was never afraid of me even when he was ...

Today i experienced first hand what delay gratification is. In case you don't know what delay gratification is, it is the ability to resist temptation for an immediate reward and wait. I learned about it in my psychology class but today my little cousin displayed it for the first time. His dad bought gold fish and gave it to him. He usually opens the bag right then and there and eats the gold fish because he can't control his impulse. Today, my sister asked "Can you give me ...

I was really happy to be part of it. I remembered looking into the crowd and none of my family members were there. My mom was busy ...

Representing Cambodia in front of thousand of people is not a problem for me because I am a very proud Cambodian. There were so many people stopping by our booth and asked us questions. I was extremely happy to see so many curious people. There were people who had no idea where cambodia is, but they walked away learning how to say thank you and they were able to identify Cambodia on the map. There were people who didn't know anything about the genocide in Cambodia, ...
