I hate friends who only call you up when they need something. I'd change my phone # and never contact them again. That just shows you they're just using you and see you as a "bitch". With family is different, but friends - that's not what friends are suppose to do.

yea i have a friend that ive known since i was 14. he did some really grimy shit to me a while back but we got through it and were still boys. we been through it all together. we used to get fucked up and cuss eachother out over some dumb shit. then we got into fistfights. shit was really bad when he stabbed me in the back over a girl. haha...i was mad at him for a while but i figured they both fucked up equally and i didnt hold it against either of em. i just forgave them both and moved on. im all the better for it i suppose. i eventually got married and hes got his own girl now. they are happy together so in the end i think time heals a lot of old wounds and perhaps when you look back youll see how petty things are in relation to the big scheme of things. the girl that left me because of him pales in comparison to my wife now. and i didnt mean to assume that it was over money. i was just trying to offer you my example of what happened to me when i do favors for friends. usually they end up inviting me out to eat and i end up paying for the meals. i dont mind depending on how they go about doing it. lmao i think you and me need a new circle of friends.
i really gave it a chance with her bc we've been friends for so long.. but ppl change.. doesn't mean i still have to like them. and no.. it has nothing to do with money if you got that impression lol.. money doesn't phase me.. it comes and goes.. but i don't let people take advantage of me either. i don't need to tell her that i'm not doing anymore favors for her.. it's not something you just say randomly to someone. that's just unnecessary drama.. she'll figure it out soon enough.
lol tell your friend that youre not doing anymore favors for her. if she asks why just be honest. sometimes its hard to differentiate between doing a favor for a friend and being taken advantage of. its a grey area sometimes depending on the frequency and the levity of their requests. i limit how much i will do for a friend. i dont mind paying for dinner or loaning a small sum. the most i ever loaned was 100 bucks and its been 7 months and i havent been paid yet. go figure. but i really try not to loan money out to anyone. i find that money or lack thereof will cause a lot of people to change. but money isnt everything. if youre the kind of person that can open your heart and your purse for someone else im impressed. sucks to be your friend, i dont think she realizes what she has.
yeah, i know how that feels like. i had one girl that only call me when/if she needed something. but after awhile i stopped caring and didn't answer her calls bc it only benefit her and not me. i try to cut those type of people off asap. i don't bother with it anymore.

yea.. she's been in headstart since she was 2 1/2 months old :T it's always been the same issue. older asian folks keep saying she'll grow out of it but i have a gut feeling that there's something more. will keep you updated!
arwen just turned 4 this past new year. so amelie is a year older. did you have a lot of kids around her as she was growing up? maybe she'll grow out of this.
i know it was kinda long.. just needed to get off my chest amelie's headstart and pre-k have do reviews a few times a month and it's always the socializing and communicating with others aspect that's a problem.. so i'm gonna see if i can see a specialist soon bc i don't want her to struggle in kindergarten, 1st grade, etc. when it's time to do individual work. she's above average academically, but it's just getting her to do the work by herself. like she can read the directions, but she doesn't know what it means. good luck with arwen! i always thought amelie and her were the same age.. no? amelie is 4 1/2 turning 5 this july
nice update. amelie's behavior is almost like my daughter's. I don't hang out much so she's not around that many kids. when we go out, she might play with just one kid. but playing with 2 or more kids, she doesn't like it. I'm going to enroll her in preschool/pre k to see if I could make her more sociable. well, good luck with everything.

omg.. ice skating is no joke lol. my feet hurt.. i think i was more scared of falling than anything.. lucky i didn't. i woulda be traumatized lol.. my bf was annoyed of me at first bc i couldn't help but to cling to him/the wall but he saw how determined i was to get it and now.. i've done enough ice skating to last me the rest of my life lol. one guy sprained his ankle though.. made me more nervous.. i love seeing the little kids zip around in their tiny ice skates.. soo cute! makes me wonder... i haven't rollerblade in forever.. i wonder if it was that hard lol. and yes!! thanks everyone.. i just wanted to do somethin diff this year actually a lot of ppl went out to boston/salem and new hampshire to trick or treat so it wasn't that bad lol. plus, lowell gets to do it again next week haha.. the storm wasn't too bad. there was a lot but most of the snow melted away the next day but it was really windy, leaves were still on trees, and that caused a lot of power outages. lucky for me, mine never went out.
just saw the news of east coast getting slammed with snowstorm which has resulted in some fatalities. hope yall r safe.

I agree with ya about the bad influence thing. A lot of Disney and Nickelodeon shows have obnoxious brats who try to be little adults. They are beyond disrespectful towards their elders and older siblings. The older siblings tend to be dumbasses who let little kids bully/talk down on them. Back in the days, kids would get their a$s kicked if they treat their older siblings the way kids on tv do now. Ugh! I can't stand em. I can tolerate Disney a little more than Nickelodeon though. Thanks for the video. Prostitution is a world wide problem, not just Cambodia. In America, there's prostitutes roaming the streets, working at strip clubs and working at massage parlors. I think we need to fix our own problems first before we go to other countries and tell them what to do.
