Fun usually come at a cost and the cost is sometimes fun. During my stay in Siem Reap, I met up with some friends for the 1st time at the Red House restaurant a couple of miles from Angkor Wat(This was after enjoying the sunset at Bakheng mountain so it was around 7PM)

man it was so hard to burp cus there aint no carbonation in anything...even coca cola tasted rather different.

Anyways, I took a tuk tuk to Red House, and being that tuk tuk were everywhere at basically ...

Soothing melody is usually what attracts me to the sound of music but in Cambodia its Karaoke. I know it widely viewed as a place of bad influence and men are usually frowned upon going to such place but, for me, it just a normal place with alcohol... and girls.

I ended up going to the karaoke 4 times(different cities) during my stay, 2 of which was at my hometown in BMC.

it seems like everywhere I go I run into ppl I know or used to know. Its kind of funny now cuz before, id just try to hide myself away and not interact with anyone but now, either they make their ways towards me or im already there and got nowhere else to run. Hugs are rather natural now instead of awkward like it used to be. My social life has somewhat done a complete 180, from emo to very expressive. I really like talking to ppl now and whenever i mention that i used to be this awkward emo kid, ...

I had a really wonderful time visiting the motherland for the first time. Kind of ironic but I never had the chance to even visit the city cus all of my times were spent in the field tending to the livestock and hunting rabbits. I thought my return was pretty lowkey but apparently all of my relatives knew and I ended up meeting most of them including some friends that are currently members of KL(Naroth, Alynne, SreyChnas,...WAaron )

So I gave my opening speech for the Khmer new year today. As I was coming up on stage, I noticed that there were no podium present. All of a sudden my high school implosion, where i dropped my paper and literally froze in front of the class, began a new. everything was headed in the same direction but somehow(maybe my vacation at srok khmer where i had to force myself to speak khmer all the time) managed to gain some tractions and was able to pull myself together. It wasnt good but I think I didnt ...

I said I was gonna write a speech I have to do for new year in the state during my stay in srok khmer but here I am returning, empty handed, blank paper, without thoughts, and only with about 20 hours to work with. How can I? What to say? Wheres my mind? Oh, be still...

I wanted to spend some time elsewhere but after seing how beautiful the city is, we finally decided to stay for the duration of our trip before making our way back to Phnom Penh. Words just cant describe it. It just feels like paradise here...

I havent been to 1 since forever but Phnom Penh definitely is making me feel that way. I dont think I can ever live here, way too busy.

Having been far away from home, where the heart is, for such a long time has made me scared, anxious and excited to finally return to my origin. I have tried countless times but it seems to never fall through due to something always getting in my way at the last minute. This time, theres no long term planning, no last minute reasoning, and definitely no changing my mind unless an angel descends down to propose to me...but that aint happening. spontaneity in full force!
