My gay friend who just got back from his internship wants to hit up the gay club in West Hollywood again. We're in our 30's, I was never a clubber, but I feel obligated to accompany him.

I don't feel comfortable going to these gay places. I'm thinking of compromising with my gay friend and instead of going clubbing, maybe we can go to a straight lounge and just chill.
