It's time for a change on July 1st. My landlord has kicked me out so her boyfriend can move in, thus I will have to find a new place. Actually, already found one. It was a tough decision between finding a really nice place of my own, or just getting the basics so I can save up more money. I had the max budget set at $1500/month for a 1-bedroom condo downtown, but in the end I decided to settle for a bedroom with private washroom and shared kitchen at $550/month. My life has been a roller coaster and I can't change what has happened, impossible. I've been up and down but been down a lot lately. It's something I can't help but feel. But I always remember what happened and what struggles I went through and how proud I feel. And the good thing was my brain, nothing affected and it is as good as always. I'm ashamed to say that I've lived here for years and still haven't gone to the places he spoke of. Funny thing is I used to live around Flushing lol. I'm pretty sure I've passed Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao many times, but didn't bother ordering food there cuz the area is pretty ghetto. But the best foods are in the ghetto, amirite?
