Just curious. I hate all the responsibility of being married but like the person I m married to and enjoy the company.

You can always enjoy the company of another without the responsibilities of monogamous relationships haha

Lol. Good answer!
I'm not married yet, but I really wanna get married! Sometime soon, of course. I'm talking about in the next year or two. I'm on the prowl for candidates! Lol. I've had plenty of "practice," and I think I'm ready to begin the procedures for the real deal. :)
Wow, I never thought I'd say that...

Taken too lightly. Isn't marriage an oathe? And most get prenuptial to limit that oathe. :D Yet looking around, how many people are age have all ready been divorce?
For them I guess what is there left to do but either try marriage again and again, or give up

Dude, marriage isn't even as 'sacred' as it used to be. "The Bachelor," "The Bachelorette," "Who wants to marry a rich midget?" All these shows are a mockery of what used to be a 'sacred ceremony.' I think the divorce rate is higher than the unemployment rate, right now. And the way the economy is rolling in this country? That's not good.
Btw, you just received my 200th "thanks!" You are welcome, friend. :o

I'm like the only one that's not married. All of my friends and co-workers are either engaged or married. I'd love to be married one day, my boyfriend has already says he's putting a ring on me -- I just don't know when.

Aw bruh you shouldn't had. Will you be my best man? :o
Any way, that is so true, just like love use to be sacred. Now both love and marriage have to do with money and thrill and when the them two over, people claimed they fell out of love and go cheat and when caught throw a tantrum to get as can in courts divorce. I believe that wrap up my many year with my girl that I'm glad we didn't tie not. It is so engrain in most of us we believe it isn't so, but it still end up so, in the end. Getting marry now is just a peice of papers and gamble.

I would be honored to be your best man, brotha Satha. Just tell me when and where... :)
And I totally agree. The words “I love you” don’t carry the strength and meaning as it used to. It’s just thrown around carelessly. Just like a marriage proposal. I know some people that got married, not because they were in love, but because they felt like it was time. As if they did it just to say “I’m married.” It’s silly. I wanna make sure the person I marry has the ability to keep my bad ass in check. I know I’m difficult...lol. :)

I got married in March, (something I said I would never do and kept putting it off, but I end up marrying my first love), then 2 months later he laid his hands on me while I was pregnant with his son; so no marriage sucks ass! its really not sacred anymore, just taboo! You pay so much money to get married, then in the end a boat some of money to get divorce. :/

If you're with him long enough and comfortable in the marriage discussion, it's a good idea to sit down with him to talk about your future with him. Well, in a marriage, it takes some incomes to run/sustain a family.

You got some big balls to be able to walk away from an abusive marriage. No one should subject themselve be in one. It probably hard, but at the end you know you and your kid will be safer. It's heartbreaking.

It was hard, I actually trying to work it out with him; if it wasn't for the push from my family, I would have still been in Maryland alone; glad I moved back to Virginia because I have my family and friends down here that helps me get through these tough potholes in life.

We've already had a talk about it. He already has plans for us and I'm good with his plan. I just get antsy because all of my friends are getting engaged so quick and they're planning their weddings.

Well, it seems that you've try but the marriage is not to be.... and that's how life is. Sometimes, it probably happens for the best. Diversity makes us all stronger. No matter how steep is the hill, to get to the top, you have to climb it. Stay strong!

I'm married but separated. It's like having your cake and eating it, too!
I don't think I'll ever marry again. There too much loss of freedom.

Marriage has been a very tough and rewarding experience. We're still relatively new so I'm sure there will be more obstacles and problems that we'll get to solve together but if at the end of everything we're still spending our Sundays dancing to Sin Sisamuth, I think I'll have lived a fulfilled life.
