Do you drive with automatic transmission or manual? What do you prefer and why? Just curious

I rather have manual anything rather than an auto. Manual makes you feel like you're more a part of the car and don't get bored as much, plus you get better gas mileage too.

I would much rather drive a MANual, I had to drive an auto, due to my car being in the shop for paint and it was so sluggish and boring. Mind you that it was a 2.5 Nissan Altima with the fake Manual on the side type deal, that helped a little bit. Still made me miss my car even more.
I love my Honda SI and enjoy driving manual. It does get tiresome if there is a lot of traffic but it's not so bad. I enjoy having the control.
And believe it or not, I find it much easier to parallel park with my manual, especially on hills. I don't know what it is, something to do with the control aspect of it probably.

I drive an automatic but only after so many years of driving manual. Its convenient but sometimes I did wish my transmission had an extra gear to save me some gas.

Automatics are the way to go when you're dealing the LA traffic during peak hours

I prefer both, since I drive both.
On weekdays I drive auto and on weekend I drive stick. Lately I haven't been driven stick because I been lazy and don't feel like Moving all those other cars out the driveway just to get my baby out.
Hopefully this weekend I will drive stick.
If I had to pick one, just one... I pick auto.
All you younger Guys can have fun with stick lol

I have a manual. But there are times/situations when having an automatic would be nice/better. More of a creature comfort than anything really. My next vehicle is going to be a truck and it will be automatic. And I agree with solid, if I had to choose one I think I would go with auto. Manual was a younger mans thing I guess. Gettin old haha.
edit:
Btw, a non-sport/non-tuned car that is manual will always be easier to drive than one that is. My clutch is a bitch in traffic. It replaces my calf raises exercise for my left leg for the week.

Years ago I want nothing but manual. Now when you're a taxi driver for a teenager that have a very active social life I prefer automatic. I find myself eating with one hand and driving with the other very often.
