The walls that they put up
*It's been a long time since I wrote. I've had a lot on my mind so i decided to write it down.*
Everyone want's love
but they aren't willing to go through the pain
they always want sunshine instead of the rain
not understanding that
they also have umbrellas to shield the pain
you are pointing fingers but who is to blame?
so you put this wall up when it hurts too much
saying that it's difficult
to find a love worthy enough to trust
limiting yourself in your comfort zone
telling yourself it's ok to be alone
scared to love with everything in your heart
afraid of a not yet broken heart
so foolish that you let your ego become your pride
letting good lovers pass you by
so focused on a heartache that has yet to come
so scared of being hurt that you only become the hurt one
I know that you went through a lot
and it has made you so blind
that you don't give the same love
that you gave to the first guy
they say that first love is always the hardest one
I say treat the next better then the last one
learn to love and love to learn
you will get better then you deserve..
