Walking in the rain, no one sees me crying,
I'm gone forever babe, there's no use to denying.
You had a chance to finally be with me,
But you chose for us not to be.
I have no other choice but to move on now,
I can't be there for you anymore, you're on your own now.
This poem is dedicated to you as a farewell gift,
We'll never know what would of happened, what and's and what if's.
Just know that I love you, no matter where I am,
To make it easier on you, forget my name, it's not NanG or Sam.
Let go of me and throw all your feelings away,
There's nothing more I can do now, nothing left to say.
Being good and sweet wasn't enough for you,
You wanted me beside you always, you think I didn't want that too?
But you limited me to the things I can do with you,
Because you were afraid of what that fool would do.
You're having a baby girl now and you know it could be mine,
We'll find out soon enough, when it's about that time.
You know that I'm sad, you can see it in my eyes,
Even after all of this, it's still hard to say goodbye.
I could have made you the happiest girl alive,
But you chose to let a real man who loves you walk pass by.
When that fool hurts you again, I don't want to see you at my doorsteps,
Crying for me to come back, I'm sorry, I'm gone... A promise I've kept.
At least the last few words you said to me was "I hate you",
That was my plan, to help you move on and see that you do.
Because everything I did...... I did it for you,
But I bet you never knew.
All of the things he did to you and what I did for you,
I was always there for you, to protect you, respect you, most of all, to love you.
You don't know how much you hurt me, the heart that loves you is dying,
The last time you talked to me, I know you could hear me crying.
I know why you hung up the phone so fast, because you were scared,
As I heard that fool's footsteps coming up the stairs.
One morning on Oct 13 you came to see me, when you thought he was
looking for you, as you dropped by,
It makes me sad for you, knowing that fool who's suppose to love you placed that fear in your eyes.
My heart is not a game, yet I know for us it's game over,
Just leave me alone now, I'm done crying for you, over and over.
It's not right and I know it's not fair,
I was always there for you when you needed me, but when I need you, you're not there.
I'm nothing more than a memory to you,
Just remember the words I've said and never forget that I love you.......
