Microsoft giving away FREE Windows 7 for College Students

Get it while it's hot. And it's only the Pro Version. I would suggest go all out and get the Ultimate Windows 7 version. The Pro version is more than good enough for most average user though.

well, it did caught mine and got my hopes up 8( haha..yeah, it's pretty cheap compared to what it would cost..i gotta get me one..so i go to that site, "741" to get it for that price?

my school has a partnership with M$, get it for free. From the MSDNAA website. Check if your school offers it.
I've been using Win 7 x64 for the past month. Awesome. Finally an OS that I can actually say I like.

same here it deals with WOrk for me so all I had to do was Take the Windows 7 test just to learn about it..and Their sending me a Free copy...plus my brother works for Microsoft so I would of still gotten it for a really cheap price =)

Speaking of Windows 7, I need to get a new hard drive for dual boot with XP. Any cheap places besides newegg.com? Looking for a 1 terabyte of storage.

Yea, how you liking it? Man, it's soo smooth on my home made computer. In fact, everything just feel stable like it's not even trying hard to load up programs. I like the simplicity of XP but don't like how it behaves when switching program. It felt loose and not tight like Windows 7. lol
