for example my parents told me the name of the city Pailin is kalah language it's old ancient khmer it means "to go play" or "thov lain"

i heard that it's really rare to find khmer kalah now a days since they all died out.. i've heard that back in the days kalah language were use for spell magic ect...some of them cannot be translated cus all the ancient people that knows it died out..

Well most of them die during the first week of Pol Pot taken over Pailin as they decide to make nite time cross over from Cambodia to Thailand for their freedom.  From what I heard from older people, they were all gun down by KR soldier as they were crossing over the border to Thailand.  In looking back at least they were smart enough to decide to run across the border for safety despite of not able to make it to safety.  Unless the rest of the  inhabitants of Pailin at the time decide to stay and welcome our King and suffer the 4 years of hard labors and still most people die anyway.

I was wondering how can we bring this little dirty secret out to the open for a small minority whom literaly wipe out from Cambodia despite in Pailin at the time they no. no more than few thousand at most.  I hate to use the word "Genocise" but it seem the whole world have no clue what happening to us.

I have relative whom have Kala grandmother, that is as far as I know but really, I only know one elementary classmate whom is Kalah.  None whatsoever after that.  Maybe you should figure out how to take an online cenus on how many there are Cambodia Kala still survived after Pol Pot.

I know what story you're talking about, Kambuja. That was the name for it during that time period. The name comes from a so-called indian prince (Kambu) who marries a local matriarch, and his kingdom and his offspring are know as Kambujadesa, " the sons of Kambu"... Further more, In modern khmer language, Burma (Myanmar) is known as Pumiah. Even during the height of the Khmer empire, the srok expanded into modern day Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, and even Pumiah (Burma). The ethnic Mon, who live southern Burma, speak a Khmer like tougue...
