Back pain for life.

Last month - 10/19/2009 @ 1:06 PM

Ever since I got my epidural while I was in labor, I've had major back problems. I wake up every morning with an achy/sore back and it continues to ache all throughout the day. I can't even remember the last time I was able to have a good night's sleep. Yea, it's quite lovely. I need to find a cure to this soon. I must!!!! I refuse to live like this. BLEH Yell

Thanks, Sola <3. I need to find a way to freaking relieve this pain for good. I wish I would've known about this before I got that dang epi!

aw, i hope you find a cure for it, that sucks! also one of the reasons why i didn't get anything, i was too scared of all the side effects and had nothing. but then again, i'm lucky and my labor was pretty easy. you must've had it rough :(

Thanks, love. I held off on it for soo long until the docs kept insisting I get it bc my blood pressure was getting high at the time and they thought the epi would help w/it. I was in labor for 19 hours and pushed for 3 1/2.. but by the time I had started pushing, I was able to feel A LOT of pain still.

I use to wake up with backache until I change my mattress. so change your lumpy-dirty mattress and your pain will go away.

Go to a massage therapy place weekly. After a few months the pain should fade away. :]

Try a massage and a new comfortable bed mattress. And try to be more active. Stretching exercise might help too. I don't know, but you might also have a medical symptom.

I doubt it's a medical symptom.. but I do plan on changing my mattress now that it has been brought to my attention. I just got back into working out again so maybe that will help alleviate the pain also.

hope your back feels better and I like the recommendations people posted up, give that a try maybe it might help, but therapy is expensive, maybe massages?
