I just got back from the city (San Francisco) and having lunch with my boyfriend. It was a beautiful day there! I took the BART and it took about 35-40 minutes to get there. We had Vietnamese food and yogurt for dessert. Yum. I definitely need to go visit him for lunch more often. But that wasn't my only intentions in going to the city. I went to purchase Wicked tickets directly from the box office. We are treating out my boss to the show for a belated birthday present and I didn't want to pay $10 per ticket for a convenience fee as I was buying 6 tickets. That's lame. Also, they are having a code: 3FALL special where the original price of $99 for good tickets is now $75.
Anyways, if you have yet to see this broadway musical, you are seriously missing out! I saw this in London last year while I was in Europe and it is the best musical I have ever seen so far. It's super fun and the production is just amazing. I've been raving about it to my family and friends and was so excited that it was coming to SF but haven't had the chance to see it yet. We're going this Saturday and having dinner afterwards. Can't wait. Just a little info about it: It's the wicked witch of the west's (from The Wizard of Oz) version of the story. It's quite a good take on it. And the music is amazing. But I have always loved musicals (Cry Baby is my all-time favorite). If you do too, you'll love this. Go see!
